Privacy Policy

Geoptimizer measures brand visibility in AI-generated answers. To do that we process the minimum data needed: your account details, the brands and prompts you configure, and the AI answers we retrieve on your behalf. We do not sell personal data. Our site analytics are cookieless; the one advertising tool we use, the Meta Pixel, loads only if you accept it.

What we collect

  • Account data: name, email, and authentication credentials (passwords are hashed; Google sign-in shares only your basic profile).
  • Workspace data: brands, domains, prompts, competitors, scan results, and the visibility reports we generate for you.
  • Public site content: when you configure a domain, we fetch publicly available pages from it to run site audits and to draft AI prompt suggestions.
  • Billing data: handled entirely by Stripe — card details never touch our servers.
  • Promotional codes: if you redeem one, we keep a record of the redemption tied to your email address to enforce one-redemption-per-person limits.
  • Free-tool usage: the domain or URL you check and your IP address, kept for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
  • Email addresses you optionally submit to receive a tool report.
  • Site analytics: anonymous, aggregated page views via Vercel Web Analytics — cookieless, no cross-site tracking, and no personal data collected.
  • Ad measurement (only with your consent): the Meta (Facebook) Pixel records the pages you view, the referring page, your IP address and browser details, and a signup-completed event, and sets Meta's _fbp cookie. Meta may link this to your Facebook or Instagram account to measure and improve our ads. It never loads unless you click “Accept” in the cookie banner.

How we use it

  • To run scans against AI engines (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, xAI) — your prompts are sent to those providers, directly or through the OpenRouter API gateway, under their API terms. Prompts are brand-visibility questions you configure, not personal data.
  • To generate prompt suggestions and sentiment analysis using OpenAI models.
  • To send the emails you asked for: account verification, visibility reports and score alerts, and free-tool reports. Marketing email only with your consent.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the service.

Who processes it

We run on a small set of infrastructure providers, each processing only what its role requires: Vercel (application hosting and cookieless analytics), Railway (database hosting), Inngest (background job orchestration), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Sentry (error monitoring — error reports are scrubbed of user identity, cookies, and request contents before they are sent), Meta Platforms (ad measurement via the Meta Pixel — only after you consent, and only the browsing data described above), and the AI providers listed above. We do not share your data with anyone else, and we never sell it.

Cookies

We set only essential cookies: your sign-in session, your active-workspace preference, a cookie that remembers your cookie-banner choice, and — if you arrive with a promotional code — a short-lived cookie that carries the code through signup. The only non-essential cookie is Meta's _fbpadvertising cookie, which is set solely if you accept the Meta Pixel in the cookie banner. Declining changes nothing about the service. You can withdraw or change your choice at any time — the banner will reappear and the pixel stops loading:

Retention & deletion

Scan history is retained per your plan's history window. You can delete your account and workspace data at any time by contacting us; deletion removes your data from production systems within 30 days.
